So those who had reached level 50 of Shadow Fight 2, the opportunity is now LIVE to fight against The Titan. This is probably the most anticipated battle in the game & it is absolutely worth it. I will skip the fact that you need to reach level 52 before you can fight against Titan, since most of the players will be able to get through. However, defeating Titan is a different ball-game altogether. After nearly 30 attempts, today I understood the chink in his armor & was able to defeat the monster, through a rather simple yet efficient technique. Let me take you through the journey.
First let's talk about the equipment. I am a normal player, without coin or gems boost - so I don't have access to special weapons like 'Composite Sword' etc, so I took Flame Clubs which is a level 52 weapon & upgraded it to the fullest. Same thing goes for your armor and helm. My magic & ranged weapons were not in use during Titan Fight, so I am keeping them aside. It is also important to note, that all weapon, armor & helm need to be 'enchanted' with 'medium recipe'. Normal recipe will not be much effective. For weapons, bleeding or Life-steal would be good enchantments, while for armors, regeneration or damage absorption are good enchantments.
When you face off Titan, it's rather intimidating. He is taller, stronger & much more powerful than Shadow. However, like all evil villains, Titan also has some weaknesses. We will discuss one by one.
Titan possesses the Titan Sword which is equipped with Life-steal. He wields his sword through multiple movements, sometimes lunging forward, or sometimes swinging it horizontally. Both the moves are deadly and certain to knock Shadow off his feat. In most of the cases, these 2 moves will cause the maximum damage and inflict Life-steal effect, increasing the life of Titan. So the key strategy is to avoid these 2 moves from being delivered. It is a very good strategy to block these moves. On certain occasions, Shadow will be knocked off his feat, but since the amount of damage is less, the Life-steal function will not be activated. Shadows armors are capable enough to absorb such hits a few times. However, Titan can lunge the sword forward when Shadow is lying down on the ground, which can prove to be deadly. This is a scenario where the player has little control to do anything about. Apart from these 2 moves, Titan has a mechanical claw which is pointed towards Shadow's throat. It is almost impossible to dodge this. If he catches you, Titan will bring you up to him, before hitting you with the Titan Sword. Even if you roll out from the onward motion, the return of the claw is most certain to hit you, but it causes less damage. The only way to dodge this would be to roll/jump to the other side of Titan (practically this is almost impossible, unless you are standing at an optimum distance from Titan). Titan also throws an energy ball (blue color) which might hold Shadow by his throat and reduce his life. Finally, Titan can hold Shadow by his throat if Shadow is close enough. This is a bad thing since Shadow will be thrown down to the ground, causing massive damage.
If you are able to defeat Titan in 1 round, he will use a 'special' blue armor in the next rounds. It will prevent Shadow from causing damage for a few moves. However, as soon as Shadow breaks the spell, the color turns to black and Titan is vulnerable again. Titan also does a front rolled jump which can be very damaging. But quick footwork can help Shadow dodge the attack.
Now, let's understand the weakness of Titan. Like most of the BIG weapons, the Titan Sword has higher inertia, meaning it takes more time before the attack is completed. Shadow should use this time for a double paddle sweep or simply blocking Titan's move. Also, since Titan approaches forward during the attacking moves, Forward kicks are usually useful to stop Titan mid-way in the attack. It is very important to understand the range of Shadow's weapon (meaning between which distance range you can hit Titan). If Titan is too close, Shadow will use his hands (instead of weapon, causing less damage) & if Titan is too far, Shadow's moves will be wasted, leaving him vulnerable for Titan's next move. So, it is very important to land every blow on the money, and ensure Shadow doesn't miss a single shot.
Enchantments like bleeding would be most effective, since it will take out 15% of Titan's life. Try to aim for Titan's legs, since he is bulky (taking more time to move) & tries to stomp the ground when Shadow is nearby. Avoid Titan's sword moves either by kicking him mid-way or absorbing the blow through block. Most importantly, Shadow needs to move around, dodging Titan's attacks & at the same time, creating chances to hit him back. With a cool head, it is possible to defeat Titan, without any special weapon (like 'Composite Sword'), but normal weapons and armors need to be upgraded with medium enchantments.
All the best! Slay the beast forever!
